The Catskill Mountains Region of New York State and the Pocono Mountains region of Pennsylvania are a hunter's and angler's paradise! The Sunrise Farm Rod and Gun Club holds leases on prime hunting and fishing property in Delaware and Sullivan counties in New York and Wayne County in Pennsylvania. These lands include both active and abandoned farms and timber company property.
Club anglers enjoy fishing for trout on one mile of shoreline on the fabled Beaverkill and in over a mile of club-controlled tributaries off the Delaware River (Basket and Pea Brooks in Long Eddy, NY).
Hunters will find some of the finest deer and turkey-hunting in the northeast. Upland game is abundant and coyote and woodchuck offer the varmint hunter some excellent opportunities.
We are currently opening up the club to new membership. Our club year runs from March 1st through February 28th of each year, but membership applications will be accepted at any time.
2008 Membership is full.
we will start accepting new applications for 2009 in January.
Club dues are as follows:
All Full Paying - $425 (from January thru Feb. 28th)
If joining AFTER February 28th., Dues are $450 + raffle tickets
Student Membership: $100
Fishing Membership: $75
Spouse Member: $35
Junior Member: $25
Senior Member (65+): $212.50
Senior members pay full price until they have been members for 5 years.
All members except student, junior and spouse must sell five raffle tickets @ $20.00 each.
